Each year, through the annual budget process, the Parks and Recreation Department schedules park, beach and trail improvement projects.  These may include upgrades to playground equipment, changes in irrigation systems, recreational trail enhancements and improvements, bluff stabilization projects, and landscape improvements.  These projects are designed by Parks and Recreation staff, and carried out by landscape maintenance contractors.
