The weekly 50 minute concerts feature outstanding musicians from throughout Southern California performing all styles of music. The public is invited to bring lunch or purchase from the coffee cart. Music By The Sea
In 2012, the City began Music By The Sea, a ticketed concert series at the Encinitas Library. Each year, nine Friday night concerts are presented that feature talented artists from around the world who are winners of the annual Beverly Hills National Auditions. Individual concert tickets are $14 each. "A much-sought-after opportunity for performers...the talent level is extremely high." (Los Angeles Times)

Since 2012, the City has partnered with iPalpiti Artists, International, as a host city for the iPalpiti Festival of International Laureates, and is the site for five "world class" concerts. Each summer, the festival draws more than 24 award-winning young musicians from 20 different countries to the southland to present a series of solo and orchestra concerts. The 2017 festival consists of 10 days in Encinitas, July 10-19, 2017, with four Soloists Concerts at the Encinitas Library and a performance by the iPalpiti Orchestra at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. The festival continues with concerts in Orange County, Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, and the grand finale at Walt Disney Concert Hall on July 29, 2017.

Six award-winning young instrumental soloists from six different countries will perform four different Soloists Concerts at the Encinitas Library, July 13-16, 2017, as part of the 20th Annual iPalpiti Festival, Eduard Schmieder, Music Director and Conductor. Each soloist has won a major international music competition and is a rising star in classical music. Come for an “astonishing musical odyssey.” (Los Angeles Times) 30 minutes before each concert enjoy a delicious reception on the patio overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
iPalpiti Orchestra Concert
The acclaimed orchestra, conducted by music director Eduard Schmieder, will present a concert on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 7:30pm at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 890 Balour Drive, Encinitas, CA 92024. Many of the award-winning young musicians hold key positions in the leading orchestras around the world.
