The City Manager is the administrative head of the City and directs the work of all City departments and subsidiary districts.  

The City Manager's office is responsible for City Council agenda planning, economic development priority projects, development of city-wide policies and procedures, assisting citizens, disseminating information, resolving complaints, coordinating community activities, the Commission for the Arts, providing staff support to Council and other City departments, law enforcement contract management and overseeing the activities of the special districts.
