Chris Hazeltine - Biography
Chris Hazeltine currently serves as the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Encinitas. He has over 20 years of municipal recreation experience. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in the planning, design and operation of recreation facilities and programs. As the Director of Parks and Recreation, Mr. Hazeltine's duties include management of the City's park, beach and trail inventory, landscaped medians and streetscapes, all recreation programs and special events, and the Encinitas community and Senior Center. He is a member in good standing of the California Parks and Recreation Society and the National Recreation and Parks Association.
Mr. Hazeltine holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation Systems Management from San Diego State University.
