Time: The City Council holds regular meetings on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held in the City Council Chambers located at the Encinitas Civic Center, 505 S. Vulcan Avenue, Encinitas, California.
Citizen Participation: The City Council encourages expression of opinions of citizens on any matter of community interest which is within the scope of Council's authority. Oral presentations during public hearing, written communications and oral requests are all appropriate methods of expressing these views.
How to Participate: Citizens may speak on items for discussion by the City Council after submitting a speaker's slip to the City Clerk prior to the item being discussed. Citizens may also donate time to another person by filling out a speaker's slip indicating they wish to donate time. The person or persons donating time must be present when the speaker to whom them have donated time is heard.
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, if special assistance is needed to participate in a Council meeting, please contact the City Clerk's office at 633-2601. Notification received 48 hours prior to the meeting will enable the City to make reasonable arrangements to ensure accessibility.
The Agenda: Copies of the agenda are provided for your convenience at each City Council meetings. Each agenda item has a supporting report which can be reviewed at the City's two libraries or City Hall. Copies of Council agenda documents are available for review after 3:00 p.m. on the Friday before the scheduled Wednesday Council meeting.
