The Traffic Engineering Division is responsible for traffic safety and transportation planning issues. Their goal is to maintain a safe and efficient transportation system.
Traffic Engineering staff respond to citizen concerns and questions regarding traffic-related issues, maintain up-to-date records of traffic counts and collision reports, conduct speed surveys, maintain optimum traffic signal operations, and provide technical assistance to the City's Traffic Commission and Council.
