Parks Master Plan
Encinitas Parks Master Plan Document (pdf)
In December of 2015, the City of Encinitas hired the consulting firm GreenPlay to assist the City in the development of a Parks Master Plan. GreenPlay is a nationally-recognized firm that has assisted over 300 cities and counties throughout the country in the development of such plans. While the City has a General Plan that guides its development for the long term, the Master Plan is intended to be used as a guide to prioritize and develop facility plans and recreation programs for a shorter time frame – primarily during the next ten years.
The approved and adopted Parks Master Plan plan is aligned with the desires and vision of the Encinitas community, having obtained valuable community input as a vital part of the planning process.
